Dr. Christophe Schmitt is Expert Scientist leading Plant Protein Strategic Network at Nestlé Research & Development (Switzerland). He managed the Proteins team at Nestlé Research in Lausanne for 7 years and the Nestlé R&D Protein Knowledge Network from 2012 to 2021 (50 members worldwide), developing sourcing strategy and supporting research and product applications using animal and plant proteins.

Edelwise “Ivy” Sicat is a Corporate Nutritionist Executive for Nestle Philippines Inc. and instrumental in driving nutrition, health and wellness in industry. She is a graduate of BS Community Nutrition from the University of the Philippines Diliman and placed sixth in Nutritionist-Dietitian’s Licensure Examination. She earned her Master in Public Health from the University of the Philippines Manila. Ivy started her career as a research assistant at the University of the Philippines Diliman and as a College Instructor at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, before joining corporate.

Perla Sorreda - Esguerra is the former Chief Dietitian of the PHILIPPINE HEART CENTER,QUEZON CITY FOR 31 YEARS. Mrs. Esguerra prior to her work at the PHC was with University of the Philippines Diliman as a Food Service Supervisor in 1976 to 1983. Just after passing the Licensure Exam for Dietitian, she worked as a Research Assistant in the College of Home Economics, University of the Philippines Diliman.

Robby Carlo Tan is a Senior Science Research Specialist at the Department of Science and Technology- Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) and is a current board of director of the NDAP for Public Health. Recently, he is leading in the implementation of the Nutrition and Aging R&D and the establishment of the Nutrition Physiology Laboratory of the DOST-FNRI.

Donnel has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Southern Mindanao, where he graduated as Magna cum laude. He also has a Master of Public Administration from Cor Jesu College, and is currently pursuing a Ph. D. in Rural Development at the University of Southern Mindanao.
