Von Ryan M. Ebron, is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Human Nutrition and Food, University of the Philippines Los Baños. Known as Chef lan, he is a Professional Food Technologist, culinary consultant, and educator specializing in culinary nutrition, sustainable food systems, food safety, entrepreneurship, and foodservice management. He earned his BS Food Technology and Master in Business Management degrees from UPLB and pursued his culinary education as a full scholar at the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA), Manila. A 2026 SEARCA Executive Program for Leaders in Asian Agriculture and Development scholar, he will begin his Doctor in Sustainability studies at the University of the Philippines Open University in September 2026.
